On Friday we went for lunch. Unfortunately Tsuru-san didn't join us...
As you can see on the following map the restaurant Fujimatsu (red) is near Hu-Connect (green):
I didn't expect the restaurant to be so near. I was prepared for a long walk ^^
It is a nice old restaurant. It should be around 70 years old. Just as you can see it joined somehow the Yamakasa:
We sat down on a long table and tried to order.
Of course everything was written in Kanji....Japanese would be ok but Kanji..Even my boss couldn't read the menu ^^
I was kinda happy to hear that ^^
Maybe you can. Just try:
After so many options I could order I ordered sometihng I hadn't tried yet: Soba.
Toshi-san did the same. Matsubara-san and Ryu-san ordered Katsudon or something simular.
Here is my meal:
It was a bit surprise for us. At the top was a little obento. If you take it up the soba will be shown. That was cool :D
My first soba was nice :)
We also ate some tempura:
And for dessert we tried a vegetable. First I thought it would be a sweet potato. Then Matsubara-san opened it and it looked totally different from the inside:
Doesn't it looks like some fish eggs? Matsubara-san tried but didn't like it so much..
It is one of Toshi-sans favourite desserts ^^ It is called Akebia and only eaten in Asia.
After everyone tried I also did. It wasn't so bad at all. This white slimy thing inside is sweet. The black ones are the total different. It woun't be my favourite dessert ^^ (If you can call it like that...)
