Today we went to an restaurant called Daitoen. It is next to the Kushida-jinja.
Normally you have to do a reservation at the day of the Yamakasa festival very early (for example a year before).
This restaurant is a very good place to watch the Yamakasa while eating ^^



First of all I thought about a Yamakasa when I looked at the entrance. It looks somehow a bit like the subway station of Gion.
We entered the restaurant and had to wait a few minutes to get to our table.
Unfortunately Toshi-san and Matsubara-san couldn't come with us. But we (Tsuru-kun, Ryu-san and I) had a nice time :)

We decided to eat Yakiniku. Therefore there was a grill in the middle of our table.

As you can see on the pictures above we ate a lot :D
The rice was for free ^^ Therefore we ordered more ^^
Also we had a "wedding soup", meat which we put onto the grill, and some other things.

It was really delicious :D After a great conversation about fruits^^ we went back to our office where Matsubara-san waited for us :)
