A friend of mine und I, we decided to rent a car to go to Hiroshima for a few days. I am hugely looking forward to it, particulary to drive by car in left-hand traffic, because it was my first time. Yeah, I was a bit nervous in the beginning. If I wanted to switch on the indicator I always switched on my screen wiper. My friend laughed every time. But I was able to get used to it pretty quickly. Our first stop on the way to Hiroshima was in Iwakuni, an old city on the coast, about 4 - 5 hours far from Fukuoka.

The Sandan-kyo valley. It's about 80 kilometers far from Hiroshima. Unfortunately, we had to little time to visit the whole area. This is a 16-kilometer long ravine along the Shibaki-gawa River with up to 30-meter-high waterfalls.
