a shop, an old house and the museum

If you are interested in the history of Hakata, is this a great place to visit. This old urban house is from the mid-Meji era and factory and residence concurrently.
Inside, you can enjoy an exhibition about traditional arts and crafts. There is an ancient loom and handcrafts as textiles from Hakata.

In the museum you can inform about Fukuokas history. It is little, but a museum for all of your senses. You can watch a film about the well-known and typical Yamakasa. You can enjoy Hakatas dialects through an ancient phone or if you push a red button, you can watch a little story through one of the holes on the wall. In addition, you can watch the old Hakata city in a miniatur design as well and naturally, you can read a lot about the history.
